Breaking Bad Habits
Don’t worry you’re not the only one with bad habits. I think to some extent we all have those little pesky habits that we can’t seem to get rid of. A good way to aid in getting rid of these bad habits is using positive reinforcement. Tell yourself daily you can cope with things, you don’t need that extra serving of ice cream, you don’t need that nicotine from that cigarette, you don’t need that caffeine in that soda. Take some time to think about why you’re doing these things rather than just doing them. With a little focus and concentration you can learn why you’re doing these things in the first place and this is the first step to making a change for the good. Whatever you do, don’t beat yourself up over it, that’s not helping yourself any and it will only make the habits worse. Learn, do, change.
