Recipe Submissions
This is going to be an ongoing project here at Just Not Martha. We all have our family favorite tried and true recipes that we use frequently and love to bits! I want you to submit your recipes to me, I am going to attempt to make them. I say attempt because I am still what you might consider a learning cook. I am not a great cook, I’m a mediocre cook just barely graduated from lousy cook in the past year or so! How did I get to mediocre from just plain lousy? Practice of course! As Master T would tell my boys in karate class, we must always, always practice things we aspire to be good at so that we are ready when the time comes to use that knowledge. That applies to all things in life, including cooking.
We are never perfect, we will never be perfect, we must always practice.
So, here’s how this is going to work. Using the basic form below, send me your recipe. I will give it 100% effort and make it for my family. All 6 of us! We’ll review your recipe, each family member will give it a thumbs up or a thumbs down, or an in the middle rating for how well they liked it. Please remember that this is not meant to be a criticism on your taste, but more of one on my cooking skills! I also have a picky eater and we’ll see what we can get him to try! I will take pictures and document the whole thing and share it here on the blog, along with your recipe in the form of a printable recipe card for all to use. (Recipe card will include credit to you with any information you’d like included!)
You’re probably wondering why the form asks for your mailing address? I’d like to send out some thank you gifts to my recipe submitters. I haven’t decided exactly how that will be handled, but I promise that it will be fun! If no snail mail address is provided, we can’t send a gift, but we respect your privacy! All personal information is for our own knowledge and we will not sell your contact information under any circumstances. Thank you in advance for your recipe submissions!

[...] I posted a recipe the other day of a family favorite that I like to make every so often, Chicken and Noodle Dinner. I made a double batch so I could have some for lunch the next day. They ate it all that night! They love it so much I decided to enter it in the Just Not Martha recipe contest. It’s a really unique promotion! All you do it submit your recipe, then she is going to cook it for her family of 6, and they are all going to rate it with a thumbs up, or a thumbs down. It’s not so much a reflection of your recipe, as it is of her not-so-perfect cooking skills. FUN! And there is prizes, like promotional pens, notepads, etc. So get over there, and submit your recipe. We want her cooking every single night! [...]

Then we’re going to be having random drawings and voting polls for larger prizes (like cool kitchen gadgets that you just can’t live without!) So get your recipes submitted and I’ll try my best to make them! It can be dinner, lunch, breakfast, dessert, as long as it’s food! [...]
