random bits about being not martha

Miss Deb from Two Dog Zoo Travel has tagged me on this seven random facts meme. It’s actually kind of hard to think of seven random things to tell you about me… let’s see.

1. I don’t have a driver’s license and have never driven a car.
2. I hate doing dishes. Dishwasher has become a requirement for me. I will do laundry all day, but dishes…ew.
3. I am a fidget. Sitting still doesn’t really happen. You’d think with as many calories and whatnot as fidgeting is supposed to burn I’d be a skinny fidget, but no such luck.
4. I have the same hair cut right now that I had in high school. I’ve had others in between now and then, at different lengths including super short. I think that makes me a geek?
5. I am forgetful, I make notes all over everything. Then I forget where I wrote them.
6. My favorite color is green.
7. I want a tatoo on my arm, but I haven’t gotten it yet because I had a dream that the tatoo artist put the wrong thing on my arm. Go ahead, laugh. I listen to my sleep thoughts!

And now I have to tag some people….hmmm…who shall I tag?

Rebecca, Lisa, and Robyn since yesterday was her birthday ~lol~ see what a good present giver I am?!

  1. Did it! :)

  2. I have a tattoo! :) And I also HATE dishes, can’t remember a darn thing without notes, and have had the same hair style since High School (minus the bangs). :)

  3. I have 2 tattoos! One I need to get the color fixed, and I keep putting off going back. I HATE doing dishes

  4. I forget my tags all the time, and I’m all blogged out for the night - so feel free to yell at me tomorrow if you think I’ve forgotten!

We’d make good roommates, because, I HATE laundry…and don’t mind dishes too much. (With a dishwasher, that is. But I always have tons of ‘handwash’ dishes, anyway. ugh)

You are so kidding me on the favorite color, right? Hahaha - a bit ironic, eh?

I totally, completely, 100% believe in my dreams. Well, I can usually tell the difference between ‘just dreams’ and ‘messages’, you know?

  5. Ok–I’m done–but that was hard–and I’m afraid probably really boring–but hey–that’s just who I am!! Thanks for the Tag though–it really was a fun gift!!

  6. 5. I am forgetful, I make notes all over everything. Then I forget where I wrote them.

Hahaha, this is cute and hilarious at the same time. I have a similar problem, although not quite the same. I tend to use a lot of shortcuts when I’m writing a note to myself. By the end of the day a to-do list might look like a secret message to overthrow a regime…and for the life of me I cannot decipher my own shortcuts.

Find the Time Mama

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.

Now is the time to get your Find the Time Mama guide and start making changes.
