Uses for vinegar #2 ~ azaleas

Just the other day I mentioned using plain ole’ vinegar in your dishwasher for sparkling clean dishes. #2 is an outdoor tip for using vinegar. Azaleas are a pretty common landscaping plant these days and they love some acidic soil. Occasionally water the plants
with a mixture of two tablespoons vinegar to one quart of water. This is also great for rhododendrons and gardenias.

Not big on flowers but have some nasty weeds to get rid of? Spray full strength vinegar on the pesky plants until they’ve starved and withered away!

Stay tuned for more every day uses of plain ole’ vinegar! I just added a vinegar uses category to the list here, I’ve got many more uses to cover! Blog your own awesome vinegar uses and give us a trackback?
