fried bologna gets reviewed
So, yesterday we talked about fried bologna sandwiches, and I referred you to Jennifer’s instructions on how to make them. But, I was all out of bologna so I hadn’t made any yet. Well, we made a trip to the store for some other things we needed, like the kid’s allergy medicine and I grabbed some bologna while we were there. Guess what we had for lunch? You bet, fried bologna.
Now, the kids all have different sandwich preferences. Which, some of them just send my head spinning. Dylan is not that fond of sandwiches period, but he gave it a try since it was different. I made my sandwiches according to Jenn’s specifications, but mine didn’t bubble in the middle like hers did. I wonder if it’s because I used Turkey Bologna, which I guess isn’t really bologna for real? Regular bologna messes with my stomach and makes me feel a little ill.
So, check out the sandwiches. Here are my pictures as promised. Now, where’s your fried bologna sandwiches?
And there you have it. A fried bologna lunch.

Isn’t bologna full of all kinds of junk and filler? I think eating bologna is a great way of developing allergies if you don’t already have them!

As many previously stated that fried bologna was a staple when times were not so prosperous, so was the case with me. I’m comfortable now and still enjoy the treat. Try the bologna crispy on somewhat thickly-sliced crusty Italian bread or slightly toasted ciabatta, with fried onions and piccalilli relish or onion-jalapeno relish.
