My mom was recently telling me that they are looking at buying a camper to tow. That way when they come to visit me they can stay at the nearby lovely, Newport News Park which has a great campground area. With their two dogs it will be way more cost efficient than renting a hotel. The original plan was they would just stay here, we have more room, but we rent and our lease says “no visiting pets allowed” I even asked about it at the office and it’s a definite no visit. Something to do with insurance and liability (who knows what they were talking about, it sound very excuse-like lol!)

I said it was a really good idea, we’d like to do something like that as well in the future. We’ve got a set of tents, but it would be nice to have a little camper instead, especially since it always seems to rain when we go camping! When I said it was something we couldn’t afford right now my mom told me the place they went to also rents them at really good prices. If Brian had the vacation time I’d love to take a camping trip up and down the coast, here, and then down to Outer Banks and to Georgia, back up to Maryland, and even up to Boston and over to Plymouth Rock. Who knows maybe we’ll retire and drive all over the country with our little camper LOL
