The uninspired cook…

That’s me. I have been a very uninspired cook as of recently. And it seems to be contagious. Brian is not feeling very inspired either. I blame the heat. You know how it goes, when it’s hot out you want to eat less and cook less. It’s not that there is nothing to cook. We still have plenty of things left for making, beef, chicken, pasta…. it’s all there. I even have potatoes for making potato salad and baked potatoes. I have recipes I want to try, but haven’t made them yet. I need some spark to motivate me and get me going again in the kitchen, which coincidentally is next on my list of things to clean before I leave this weekend. How did it get so messy when I haven’t done much cooking anyhow?
