home again

We’re back from our visit to Pennsylvania. The horrible weather is following me around. It was awful there with the thunderstorms and heat and humidity…. now we are home and it’s awful here with the weather. I can’t escape it. Today is our lazy day, the kids are playing video games, hubby and I are relaxing with them and not even thinking about the major unpacking of duffel bags to do still. Yes, duffel bags ~ we don’t own any luggage sets at all. Why? Because duffel bags are multi-purpose and can be used for stuff other than travel, that’s why. That and I’m poor -lol-

Getting ready to head out to get bread and milk and all the general stuff that we’re missing at the moment.

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.
