JanSport Big Student Backpack

A backpack that is designed to carry everything you need not only to school, but also to work or play. Made of polyester the s-shaped straps make for easy carrying along with the webbed handle. It has 2 large compartments and a front pocket that contains an organizer and a headphone port. There is even a pocket on the bottom for hiding keys or money. Added bonus that it comes lots of colors and print designs for the pickiest of students.

jansport big student backpackThis backpack is wonderful. It is large enough to carry all the supplies you ever need including the ginormous books for history classes. We have a tendency to lay our book bags down anywhere and before you know it they are a mess. The polyester material makes cleaning this book bag very easy. It is put together well, making for a very sturdy backpack. When you carry half of your life in it you don’t want the seams coming apart or zippers breaking.

It is also very comfortable to carry either on your back or in your hand. With the s-shape of the straps theres very little sliding off your shoulders. It also helps in keeping the backpack centered in your back. This helps because all the weight is not shifting to one side or the other.

You just can’t beat this backpack for the student, businessperson, new parent or anyone else in your household. All through high school I had two backpacks, one was a denim gym bag that carried my extra pair of sneakers and gym things, and the other was a JanSport backpack. Up until a few years ago I still had the JanSport backpack! It survived high school, camping trips, hiking through the woods, car road trips and being overstuffed with all sorts of things. It even survived a concert in the pouring rain stuffed full of everyone else’s stuff because no one else brought a bag with them. It stunk to high heaven when I got home that night and it washed right up and smelled good again in one washing.

Definitely worth a few extra dollars in comparison with how long it will last! Last year I bought Ethan a $9.00 Spiderman backpack last year for Kindergarten because he really wanted one and it was cute. By the third month of school I had to buy him a replacement backpack because the shoulder straps had torn and two of the three zippers had broken. All four boys have good backpacks now, and they take them everywhere. I’m hoping they’ll last them at least through elementary school.

I got my son a cheapy backpack last year and it lasted about 4 months. Definitely worth spending a bit more in my opinion.

There are some China made backpacks where the reliability of these backpacks are still a question. Jansports backpack is one good bag where children loves it.
