how do you celebrate 10 years?

My anniversary is this week. 10 years of wedded insanity bliss. I’m not sure what we’re even going to do yet. I know what are not doing … we are not going to Bloomsburg Fair for the weekend like we had wanted to, we are not going on any fancy couples cruises, we are not spending the day together while the kids are at school, and we are probably not going to have a babysitter in the evening either. The day thing is fine since it’s Wednesday and the kids have half a day anyhow. I’d be afraid to head out to the movies and stuff in the afternoon for fear of not getting home in time for the bus. We’ll probably go out for dinner or something, but it will most likely be with the kids, and the probably won’t be any movie involved. *sigh* What did you do for your 10th anniversary, or want to do if that is in your future?

My husband and I were married for just a couple of years with one baby boy. Every year we celebrate it. On our first year we just ate outside and just did a little shopping for our baby. Maybe on our 10th year anniversary we will plan to go to a place, first with our child(ren) then second just the two of us. Since our anniversary falls on December(what a lovely month) I want to spend time traveling across or within our country that we have never gone yet. Some kind of exploration!!!

Find the Time Mama

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.

Now is the time to get your Find the Time Mama guide and start making changes.
