monday night dinner

I bet you were expecting a recipe and some pictures. Nope. No recipe, no pictures. I’m sure you know what this looks like already. Monday night dinner in the Just Not Martha household is ramen noodles and hot dogs, bun optional. If you don’t want a hot dog you can have some PBJ, grape is our only jam choice folks sorry about that fresh out of peach preserves. We do however have a wide variety of ramen to choose from, chicken, beef, roast beef which is totally better than plain beef, and even shrimp! We’ve also just run out of port for the evening so our beverage choices are water or water with ice. May I take your order please?

Sounds like my kind of house! I’m the same way…That or Denny’s. Denny’s take out is probably a weekly routine here. That and living literally across a school yard from a pizza place has had the same kind of effect on us.

  2. Barry Cox Says:

Your hilarious. That definitely sounds like my house. We try and have a few nice meals a week, but the rest of the time it is fend for yourself.

  3. Jenny-up the hill Says:

Hey…we have one of those night too..well, maybe it’s more like two or three nights. I plan out our meals but hardly ever stick to it…maybe I should quit planning! lol!

  4. Jennifer Says:

I think I’ll go with Water with ice… I don’t like grape jelly… or ramen… hmm… what are my topping choices for the hot dogs?

  5. Chamonix Says:

We’re doing some home renovations at the moment and I just don’t have the time or energy to cook so it’s been instant noodles lunch and dinner for a week. Oh for some vegetables…
