unique kids bedding for fickle little boys
I am blessed with the joy of having a 10 year old. He’s into all that cool “tween” type of stuff and falling into that spot where he’s not a little boy, but he’s not quite a teenager yet. It’s a wonderful phase most of the time because he is learning to express himself and finding things he likes to do and be. Other times however, well if you have a 10 year old I’m sure I don’t have to explain to you what those “other times” are like. If you don’t have a 10 year old just yet, I’ll let it be a surprise! LOL
One of the things that we’ve found difficult is shopping for … well pretty much anything. And that includes things for his room. Even the bedding for kids department of a store is more girly than boy like! He needs some new bedding, and he’s at the point where superhero sheets and throw blankets just won’t cut it. And obviously he doesn’t want the pink and purple glittery things that are lining the shelves for little girls rooms either. So, what do we do? We hit the internet of course!
There are tons of place that say they have kids bedding for sale of course, but I found a lot of the same old, same old when looking for boys stuff. I’d say that 98% of my choices were camo, stripes, plain blue, and Nascar or Football themed things. But, Dylan is a one of a kind kid, and I think that he deserves unique kids bedding that he can be comfortable with and not feel too little, or too grown up. A balance that’s hard to find for a 10 year old.

The moon skater is my favorite one, but of course for a little boy it’s a huge decision and he can’t seem to pick just one!

Those are really cool. Our oldest is 6, so he isn’t that crazy about bedding, but he is picky about his underwear. I joked with him and told him I would get some Dora ones and he got pretty upset. Kids are very fun!

Oh I totally understand that, my 6 year old is very picky about his underwear! And if you take him clothes shopping he wants to get new underwear all the time. His favorites generally all have Spiderman on them!

I can completely understand it as I also have a 10 year old son. I’ve noticed that he now wants to do his shopping on his own and he loves to buy some macho-kind of stuff. But being a 10 year old, he’s not a best decision maker and he commits mistakes while purchasing his stuff.
