Any cat experts in the house?
Okay, I thought I knew loads of stuff about cats. But for the life of me cannot figure out what would make a cat suddenly start peeing on things! Maurice has peed on four things in the past two weeks. His litter box is scooped, he’s not blocked from getting to it, and the items he peed on weren’t around any other animals.
He climbed in the box of Halloween directions and peed in there. I had to throw away most of what was in the box.
We went shopping and I was lazy and didn’t put the stuff away right away when we came home that night. He climbed into the bag and peed on the two new pairs of jeans I just bought. I am washing them for the second time already … I will be so peeved if the smell doesn’t come out. They are just cheap clearance rack $9.00 jeans but I really needed them because I have close to nothing to wear, literally.
Dylan’s shorts were sitting in the hallway, I don’t even know why or how they got to the spot they were in, but Maurice peed on them none the less!!
I washed the boys socks and undies, load of whites. Unloaded them from the dryer and the basket was sitting here waiting to be taken upstairs on my next trip up to get more laundry to bring down. He climbed in and peed all over the clean socks. UGH!
I love my little orange fluff ball, but I can’t have him peeing all over the house. He’s never done this before, ever. I don’t know what’s gotten into him. He doesn’t seem ill, he hasn’t displayed any aggressiveness, he’s neutered, I don’t have a female cat or anything …
Advice, tips, suggestions, thoughts ~ anything!?!!?!

You might want to get him checked to see if he has a urinary tract infection. A friend’s cat did the same thing — and that was his problem. He stopped once the infection was cleared up.
Good luck with this — cat pee is really stinky!

Take him to a vet, get a full checkup. Might cost a few dollars depending on where you live, but well worth it for the cats sake.

If I was you i would always recommend taking your cat to a vet to get check out. I have seen a great guide to cat health that you might find helpful for everyday stuff.
