I got an award that says so even, see. Andrew at Everybody Loves Coupons sent me this award, and I have to say that it did brighten my day a bit. (See previous post about annoying stuff in my mailbox.) According to the award creator, the Halloween Treat award should be passed along to ones you think are deserving of a special treat for the season. And not just some random crazy blogger that shows up in your MyBlogLog widget. So, let’s see who can I pass my trickity treat onto? Let me see.

Lisa at Bookworm Broadcast deserves a treat or two for encouraging kids to read and for putting up with all the weird stuff I send her in skype chat.

Deb at Surviving NJ gets a treat for being inspiring and positive and upbeat about everything. That and she reads my blogs and leaves me nice comments and I like that :-p

Elizabeth at Mom Reviews for her willingness to blog for dish soap. I think she should at least be tipped with chocolate. It’s just the right thing to do.

Happy blogging and trick or treating everybody!!! I am off to find something in my refrigerator for dinner. Do you think there’s a pot roast hiding behind the soy sauce bottle?

What a great award, thank you so much! It’s weird though, it just showed up in my Incoming Links on my dashboard.

I’m doing NaBloPoMo too, but on Table for Five and MomCooks. I can only post so many times a day, you know?

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.
