Perfect Portions with food Cuber Trays!

In today’s very busy world, precooking and freezing meals has become an ideal solution for soccer moms and CEOs alike. Unfortunately, freezer bags and disposable plastic containers can be expensive and unhealthy for the environment. So how do you store all that precooked food in your freezer without worrying about freezer burn or smelly spills? The Food Cuber is the newest thing in food storage containers. These heavy-duty plastic trays are perfect for holding food in pre-portioned sizes. Not just for the freezer, these storage containers work in the fridge and cupboards too.

Food Cuber trays are ideal for busy mothers making meals ahead of time. Just pre-measure the ingredients store them safely and when the time is right, throw them together for a quick and healthy meal. A much better idea than hitting the local drive through on the way home from work or soccer practice. The innovative plastic trays can also be useful for storing just the right amount of baby food for infants. Conveniently available in three different designs; (2) one-cup portions, (4) half-cup portions and (8) quarter-cup portions, Food Cuber trays offer almost endless possibilities.

Food Cubers aren’t only good for parents; they are also excellent for people trying to lose weight through specifically portioned meals. Just store your snacks or meals for the day in one of your Food Cubers and you never have to worry about polishing off an entire bag of potato chips again. Since you can measure your portions ahead of time, Food Cubers can be a great time saving device for those with hectic schedules (and who doesn’t?). Additionally, both the lids and the trays are dishwasher safe for even more time saving convenience.

These are awesome for things like sauce and broth in single servings. I can measure out half cup portions for myself to have over rice at lunch time and juts pop out a cube and know that I have the perfect portion ready to go and I won’t over do it on the sauce, dressing, broth, whatever it might be that I’m pouring. Makes these a great diet control tool, at least for me because I know that I am bad at “just eyeballing it” to get to half a cup, or one cup, or how ever much it is of something that would be considered a perfect portion.

Food Cuber trays can be purchased separately or as a set of three, one of each size, for whatever purpose suits you. Each division within the trays has a conveniently placed “fill” lines at quarter, half or full-cup intervals for easy measuring. This eliminates the need for a bunch of measuring cups littering up your cooking area. And don’t worry about the lids popping off and allowing your food to become spoiled. Each lid has deep grooves to keep it firmly in place on the trays. Best of all, the lids are one-size fits all for the Food Cuber trays, so you never have to fear losing one and not being able to find a lid.

FoodCubers look a little like ice cube trays…and they certainly were designed to remind us of the old idea, but you may have found that 2 cup sized blocks of frozen food don’t “POP” quite as easily as those old tiny trays. When you bring your trays out of the freezer, simply run some hot water over the bottom of the tray or dip the tray into a pan of hot water. You can now easily twist the cubes loose and remove your food cubes. You can remove just one cube, or all the cubes, whatever it is you need at the moment. If you just want one cube after you loosen with warm water, you can take a sharp knife and simply insert the point down into the side of the cube you want to remove and it should lift itself right out of the tray very nicely.
