Is it Saturday already?

Yesterday did not go well at all. I got up with great intentions for using the day off. I was going to look for some online shopping deals, share them with others, get the holiday decorations out of Dylan and Noah’s closet and bring them downstairs and get started on the decorating. And after the kids went to bed I intended to get lots of work done online.

None of those things got done? Go ahead and ask me why. I fell down the stairs. Again. I have a ginormous black and blue mark on my hind end and I spent a lot of time yesterday laying on my side because sitting on my butt hurt. It’s still a little touchy today, but I can sit here on a pillow on the living room floor typing on the laptop and not feel like I’m being kicked repeatedly in the butt!

Why am I not on the desktop with the big cushy office chair? I’m sure you are wondering. Not long ago we restored it after a massive crash. It lost all data. Well yesterday morning when I got up and sat down to delete the spam junk from my email it wouldn’t connect. I rebooted the computer. Power cycled and rebooted the cable modem. Checked the laptop … it’s connected. The router is working, everything else is working. The whatever it’s called in the PC tower that the cable modem gets attached to is apparently fried. I don’t even know what it’s called and it’s busted. -lol-

So there were no Black Friday linkies for you and no holiday decorating for us and the kids had sandwiches and chips for dinner yesterday. But, all and all it’s still be a good weekend and I’ve enjoyed being able to just stay home with the kids and not have to rush off to anything in particular. Even if I did hurt my butt.

Just glad to hear that your injury wasn’t more serious. If I ever fell down the stairs here at my house I think my blogging days would be over as I have one heck of a steep set of stairs with a tile floor at the bottom. I shudder at the thought!

    Hope you feel better soon!

  2. Not Martha Says:

luckily for me it was only half a flight and carpeted -lol- we have a landing in the middle, which is where I landed and sat for a good five minutes or so!

  3. Cass Says:

Girl, being you is kinda scary, isn’t it?

  4. Not Martha Says:

    Sometimes!

What’s funny when I fell is my 10 year old comes and says “do you need help getting up?” I said I was okay I just needed a minute. He goes back downstairs and reports “It’s okay, mom just fell again.”
