So Tuesday morning we all got to hear about interest rates taking a big ole’ skydive and Wallstreet was a bit of a mess. Down, down, lots of little red arrows. Our president says don’t panic, he thinks he can fix it!! I’m sure he’ll just drop a bomb on the budget and hope no one notices. But, really, please Mr. President tell me, if you had this fabulous plan, the stimulus package he called it, that could save our economy and make things good again why didn’t you put it into place long before we had a problem?? WHYY?? Oh, wait I know … cause that might make sense.

Then to add to the financial stress hubby found out that his paycheck this week may or may not be right because of someone else goof up… nice, right? It gets better, the company is talking about layoffs. Layoffs are bad for us, I can pick up extra work and hubby can look elsewhere and all but the biggest concern for us is health care. His benefits are pretty decent, and individual health insurance is pricey, pricey stuff and we have four kids … two of which are asthmatic and take monthly meds. Add to that lots of other stuff that requires insurance. Yeah, that’s a little scary. Okay … enough of my financial ranting let’s find something better to talk about…
