breakfast and I do not get along so well
I always seem to have a difficult time with breakfast. I have to eat something or I’ll fall over, I love breakfast. It’s just making something good that’s good for me. I’ll admit that most of the time I end up with peanut butter toast or a banana or a combination of the two.
So, what’s my new favorite recipe site? Mr. Breakfast. All breakfast all the time, and a variety of it. I want to make this Carrot Zucchini Bread, but I don’t have a grater or a mini chopper
to use right now … I guess I’ll have to pick one up at the store when I go buy the zucchini. Good excuse to buy new kitchen gadgets, right?
Anyhow I am hoping that with the help of Mr.Breakfast and all the delicious sounding recipes I will learn to love breakfast again, and avoid falling into that slump of grabbing something just because it’s easy.
In the meantime, does anyone want a big jar of crisco? There is an unopened jar of it in my cabinet, I’m not sure why. Yes, Crisco the weird nonbutter white lard stuff you bake with not used cisco.

I’m a breakfast-to-go Mum, eating it on the car. It’s just the usual 3-variety of sandwiches. I miss the usual ham, bacon & eggs. I could have had them Sundays but that’s when I catch up with sleep and skip breakfast. I’m checking out this Mr. Breakfast. Thanks

I find prepping ahead of time–making muffins, pancakes, waffles, egg burritos, etc.–and then freezing is the easiest way to make breakfast simple and easy-to-grab. I am always hungry in the morning, but I hate taking the time to actually cook something.

I have a love/hate relationship with breaky. My doctor recommends that I eat it, but I just don’t feel like it in the morning. Usually I have a bit of cereal or toast. I’m seriously considering buying a juicer so that I can get some nutrition without having to really eat anything solid first thing.
That being said, I love breakfast foods in the evening.
