let’s talk about skin care for a minute

Skin care is a hot topic in my house on a daily basis. We are a house full of special needs skin care with allergies, ezcema, dry scalp (is that technically skin?), and with little boys in the early stages of puberty there are things like oily skin and acne to be concerned with too.
I have to be careful what I buy and use for several reasons. One is my allergies and senstive skin. Second is my son’s allergies and sensitive skin. Something might not bother me, but if I give him a hug and it’s something that bothers him he could have an outbreak. Crazy right?
Anyhow I’m looking at these new skin care products that I just read about today on a friends blog. BORBA has some very interesting products indeed! Not only do they offer the usuals like age defying solutions, acne solutions, claifyers, toners, etc etc… they have some very unique products as well.
One thing in particular really caught my eye, it was just so bizarre and fascinating all at the same time. Gummi Bear Boosters, designed to harness the positive effects of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients offered in BORBA formulations. These little gummies are packed with the goodness of green tea and grape seed extracts to give your skin a healthy little boost of nutrients. They are 100% Vegetarian, and completely organic, which also totally fasinates me. I’m a label reader and I’ve noticed lately when I’m shopping for even the simplest of things like lotion, shampoo, and lipgloss that the ingredient list is full of junk and fillers, some of it really seems so unneccesary and out of place in those products. And hey, if you’re watching what you eat no worries these little guys are fat free too, but they’re not really intended as a snack the recommended “dosage” is six gummies per day.
Each Gummi Bear Booster contains a revolutionary, cultivated bio-vitamin complex, shown to help skin regenerate its natural support system. Helps increase the potential to absorb skin caring ingredients into the epidermis. Combines simplicity and nutrition with the delight of confections to deliver the benefit of enhanced skin care.

My daughter suffers from eczema that seems to flare up whenever the wind blows. It requires constant maintenance. So I can empathize with you. The Gummi Bear Boosters sound great.
the gummy bear boosters are really interesting, any idea how it tastes like? the flavor ok? i know that borba products are made with healthy ingredients, so thats a big plus…
Charolastra’s last blog post..Can You Really Get Rid of Acne in 3 Days??
I think that one of the worst causes of dry skin conditions today is all the chemicals that go into soaps and other skincare products. Check out this list I found of the common chemicals that go into skin products:

I use chemical free soaps on my family and it works really well – particularly on my son who has cradle cap. You should try ridding your bathroom of all the chemical soaps!
Definitely you need to think about your skin and what is suitable for your skin. Best suitable for your skin is natural soap and skin care products.
I like the idea of the gummi bear booster. I wonder if I could get my fair skinned little girls to eat them.
i like using natural treatments, but thanks for your info
