spring picture day…
Today is spring picture day at school for the boys. They do a second round of pictures that you can buy for outrageous rates, and they also take a class photo. So here I am at 3:00 am doing a load of laundry because the insane Virginia weather decided that today was also a good day to have freezing rain and coldness. All day. So I figured long sleeves and long pants were a good idea and wanted to make sure everyone had something really warm to wear.
Last year all I bought was an 8×10 of each of the boys because their pics came out so good I really wanted to have one. I’ve been avoiding buying the overpriced Lifetouch pics, because they are just so darn expensive and I really don’t feel spending a fortune to mail pictures out to people that can’t even remember my kid’s names, you know? If they come out fantastic and irresistable I will probably order an 8×10 of each for myself again, and maybe I’ll be nice and get some 5×7’s for the grandparents too. Evil over priced picture day.

Aren’t school pictures ridiculous? I do the same thing..in the spring pictures I buy an 8X10 for us and 5X7s for the grandparents but that’s it usually.

And of course that same company also does my kids baseball pictures for an even more ridiculous price! I refused to buy any of those last year and took my digital camera to the field one day and took my own pics!
