not going to karate today

Me that is. Lucas and Ethan are still going of course, just them and dad. I’m staying home with Dylan who is still sick, Noah who is enjoying his new toys from yesterday’s shopping trip, and I’ll be in the office catching up on some work that I need to get done for clients and also working on cleaning the office. I’ll be rotating shifts between the two, afterall I can’t just sit and stare at the computer all day without getting a huge headache. So here I am typing away and procrastinating a little … oops.

So far I managed to get my cross stitch stuff out of the corner. Almost had an incident with my jar of Orvus (Orvus, not to be confused with Orovo. Orvus is a soap that is used to clean cross stitch and needlework, and um, it’s also horse shampoo.) Now that the cross stitch supplies are put away a little more neatly instead of sitting in a box in the corner where they’ve been since we moved in months ago…. the next quest on my office cleaning list is the bookshelf. I’m thinking there may be a trip to Goodwill this weekend to drop off some things that are just collecting dust.

Okay, okay … I’m getting back to work. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and I’ll be back later to tell you about my cool new camera that I bought ;)

Were you down for the count all day yesterday? I hope you feel better SOON!! New toys for Noah? Birthday?

  2. Not Martha Says:

I’m feeling a lot better today. I will be happy when the stupid flu and colds are gone forever from the house.

Nah everyone got new toys, income tax refund shopping LOL

  3. Krissy Says:

I’ve been itching to get into the office so I can clean as well. I share an office with my boyfriend and clutter seems to attach itself to him, I could spend three days cleaning (literally) and it certainly wouldn’t last that long.

I’d love to donate a lot of things in there to the Good Will but he claims he uses it all. He’s a pack-rat, through and through - heh.

Find the Time Mama

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.

Now is the time to get your Find the Time Mama guide and start making changes.
