Shop igourmet.com

to the computer store later today

I think I’ve mentioned the little local computer repair shop before. It’s a great little shop and they’ve always been way more helpful than Geek Squad … and even better they won’t charge me $60 to “look” and my computer and shrug their shoulders like that squad of geeks either. They do repairs, buy and sell used computers and computer parts, and they offer computer rental as well.

I’ve got to go over that way today and I’m taking him some parts that we no longer need and I’m going to take my sad little broken flash drive and ask him if he can recover any of the data for me. It’s a longshot, but I’ve seen get recover data from worse looking things. Then again, that old hard drive wasn’t broken in half by some clumsy girl with a laptop…. hmmm.

Hmmm, lucky you, the guys down at my local shop are constantly swindling every person who walks through the door…shameful.
