This book giveaway is actually over on my craft blog. I was impressed that cross stitch came first in the book and the very first project you read is called “Dirty Pillow: Cherry Pie”, a very cute pattern with full instructions for cross stitching and finishing off the pillow into a completed masterpiece. There’s also some other fun projects including a tote bag, soap, and a knitted cap.

You love being a mom. It's one of the best things in the world and you'd never turn it in for any other life. Me too!

But, there's no need to strive to be Super Woman or to put on any fronts that's it's all a breeze. Fact of the matter is, being a mom, a spouse, the cook, cleaner, nurse, chauffeur, bookkeeper, event planner, organizer and [fill in the blank with your many duties here] is not always easy. All those roles and duties can really wear you out (even if you love doing them) and make you feel like there's no time left over to do the things you want to do.
