Crock Pot Roast What’s Cooking Wednesday 4th edition

Well I forgot it was Wednesday, I meant to take pics this morning and by time I remembered dinner was all gone!

We had a basic chuck roast in the crock pot. I cut up some potatoes and and tossed in a few baby carrots and some diced up onion on top. Dashed some Mrs. Dash and a little Cumin on it and let it cook on low all day in the crock pot. Added a salad on the side at dinner time.

It was super good and tender and yummy. Maybe next time I’ll remember to snap a picture before we serve it up.

In the meantime if you’d like to participate in What’s Cooking Wednesday - it’s easy as pie!
Just post on your blog and tell us what’s cooking at your house today. It doesn’t have to be dinner, it could be breakfast, lunch, snacks, birthday cake, heck it could even be a batch of homemade playdough — whatever you are cooking up in your kitchen today!

If you’d like to use the graphic header that I used in this post go right ahead…. just copy and paste this:

Don’t forget to come back here and post a comment or send a trackback letting us know that you participated this week so we can all come see what’s good to eat at your house! You don’t have to post pictures unless you want to, and you don’t have to tell us your secret ingredient, heck you don’t even have to give us the recipe if you don’t want to, you can just tell us what you’re having and why you like that particular dish.

So, what’s cooking at your house?
